    Der britische Regisseur John Glen war Ehrengast des 6. Cineways International Filmfestival 2017 in Braunschweig. \nDort erhielt er mit dem Cineways Award die Auszeichnung f\u00fcr sein Lebenswerk als Editor, Second Unit Director und Regisseur. Die Dokumentation FOR OUR EYES ONLY: JOHN GLEN beinhaltet ein langes Interview mit John Glen, das kurz vor dem Festival in seinem Haus in Oxfordshire aufgenommen wurde, sowie Interviews mit Maud Adams, der Darstellerin aus OCTOPUSSY, Glens zweitem von f\u00fcnf James Bond-Filmen als Regisseur, Schauspielerin Beatrice Libert, die in MOONRAKER zu sehen war und den Glen als Editor und Second Unit Director begleitete, sowie deutschen Filmwissenschaftlern wie Dr. Wieland Schwanebeck und Prof. Dr. Ivo Ritzer.<\/p>

    Carsten Panitz, geboren 1982, machte 2009 seinen Abschluss in Englisch sowie Amerikanistik an der Universit\u00e4t Bielefeld \u00fcber verfasste dabei seine Magisterarbeit \u00fcber den Regisseur John Carpenter (This is about one thing: dominion\u201c \u2013 Masculine and Feminine Identity in the Films of John Carpenter<\/em>).<\/p>

    Panitz hat einige Kurzfilme als Autor\/Regisseur gemacht, dabei oft auch als eigener Kameramann, Editor und Komponist, bevor er als Executive Producer (als einer der Gesellschafter der crosseyed bear fiction film production company) den Kinofilm ZWISCHEN SOMMER UND HERBST (BETWEEN SUMMER AND FALL) von Autor\/Regisseur Daniel Manns verantwortete. Der Film hatte 2017 seine Premiere bei den 51. Hofer Filmtagen und wurde seitdem auf verschiedenen internationalen Filmfestivals gezeigt.<\/p>

    Zur Zeit arbeitet Panitz an seinem ersten Spielfilm als Autor\/Regisseur. Au\u00dferdem f\u00fchrte er bei dem B\u00fchnenst\u00fcck nach E.T.A Hoffmanns Der <\/em>Sandmann (The Sandman<\/em>mit einer Solo-Vorstellung von Stefan Mei\u00dfner, das im Sommer 2021 Premiere feierte, Regie.<\/p>
