Peter Lorres Weltkarriere begann 1931 in Fritz Langs M. Zum 25-j\u00e4hrigen Bestehen der Ufa, mitten im Zweiten Weltkrieg, feierten sie in den Babelsberger Ateliers rauschende Balln\u00e4chte, w\u00e4hrend M\u00fcnchhausen auf der Kanonenkugel ritt.<br \/>Nach dem Krieg, in der DDR, entstanden auch heute noch popul\u00e4re M\u00e4rchenfilme wie Wolfgang Staudtes KLEINER MUCK und die erste Verfilmung eines Stanislaw-Lem-Romans: DER SCHWEIGENDE STERN.<br \/>Im westdeutschen Kino begaben sich Joachim Fuchsberger und Heinz Drache auf Verbrecherjagd: Hier spricht Edgar Wallace. Im westdeutschen Fernsehen ging die Orion unter Dietmar Sch\u00f6nherr auf Raumpatrouille. Auch Regisseure des damals jungen oder Neuen Deutschen Films fanden das Genre phantastisch genug: Fassbinder (WELT AM DRAHT, gro\u00dfes Interesse auch an einer Verfilmung von 1984, die ihm angeboten wurde) \u2013 Kluge \u2013 Herzog (mit einem Remake des NOSFERATU, das er Lotte H. Eisner widmete) \u2013 Gei\u00dfend\u00f6rffer \u2013 Wenders (DER HIMMEL \u00dcBER BERLIN). Dann kamen Wolfgang Petersen und Roland Emmerich und bewiesen, dass es deutsche Regisseure immer noch in Hollywood schaffen konnten. Die Liste umfasst Hunderte von Titeln: M\u00e4rchen-, Kinder- und Animationsfilme, Fantasy, Horror, Thriller, Science Fiction und Parabeln. Der 1.
