Hauptteil:<\/strong><\/span> 1978 wurde die New Zealand Film Commission gegr\u00fcndet. Roger Donaldson, 1965 aus Australien nach Neuseeland eingewandert, war einer der Mitbegr\u00fcnder. Donaldson startete als Kameramann und kam dann zum Kinofilm. SLEEPING DOGS, sein erster Film, brachte neuseel\u00e4ndische Filme erstmals international ins Bewusstsein des Publikums.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Er war einer der ersten Regisseure, die Neuseeland auf die filmische Landkarte brachte. Damit ist er die erste Wahl, um als Erz\u00e4hler die Entwicklung des neuseel\u00e4ndischen Kinos seit den 1970ern bis heute vorzustellen. Er wird uns die moderne Infrastruktur der Filmindustrie sowie die bezaubernden Drehorte des Landes nahe bringen. Wir werden \u00fcber die Filme sprechen, die er in Neuseeland und die er sp\u00e4ter gemacht hat (auch mit Blick auf sein enges Verh\u00e4ltnis mit amerikanischen Produzenten; wir werden Kollegen aus allen Bereichen treffen: Produzenten, Regisseure, Autoren, Kameram\u00e4nnern, VFX-Artists, Komponisten (J. Peter Robinson), Editors (Conrad Buff IV) sowie Schauspieler wie Anthony Hopkins (THE WORLD FASTEST INDIAN) bis hin zu Kevin Costner, Natasha Henstridge, Ben Kingsley oder Sam Neill. Vielleicht wird uns auch Peter Jackson durch seine wunderbare Welt bei WETA Workshop in Wellington f\u00fchren. Beide zusammen k\u00f6nnten sie dann \u00fcber Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft des Filmemachens sprechen.<\/p>
